Artist Biography
Veloy Vigil was raised on farms around Greeley, Colorado. On his mother’s side, he was descended from Pueblo Indians and, on his father’s side, from the Spanish.
Vigil’s paintings and prints were inspired by the color, openness and energy of the American West. Frequently working to music, his art demonstrates a flowing visual style. One’s own imagination is invited to play in the artist’s creations.
