Artist Biography
Karmen Thompson Effenberger was well known for her work in illustration. She illustrated many books and received the Art Director’s Award and an Alfie in recognition of her work.
She was commissioned to create several projects for the Denver Center Theatre Company, the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, and other arts groups. The prints Effenberger made at Shark’s were commissioned by the Colorado Shakespeare Festival.
